|Recommended: YesFirst Impressions — We really like the location, staff, grounds and design of the apartments. However, when we moved in there was fecal matter on the toilet and the breadboard was still full of food matter - yuck. I'd strongly suggest a quality assurance check by management before new tenants move in to prevent that from happening again...and hire a new cleaning crew
response from property -Thank you for the review we are thankful for the rating and the feedback. We do normally do a quality check and we are sorry for this isolated check where items were missed. We did work with our cleaning company to correct this and have them come back for the missed items. We will most defiantly actively working to update our standards with the cleaning company and what we are looking for in the service they provide. |Recommended: YesBeautiful grounds and friendly neighbors — To be fair, I haven't lived here for long, but I'm very impressed with Adirondack Lodge I have had nothing but friendly interactions with staff, and they are quick to respond even during the COVID19 closings.
As I walk my dog daily, I enjoy how well they keep the grounds and how well taken care of the facilities are. There are many pet owners, and they do a great job cleaning up after their pets thanks to the bag can stations around the complex .
It truly feels like a homey neighborhood and I'm so glad I chose Adirondack.

|Recommended: YesThe gem of the city — Loving here was a break from the city while in the city. It is a community all of its own. Close to stores, bus lines, and heart of the community. No where else we have ever lived is as kind, nice and pet friendly. Always seems willing to go the extra mile, it is a blessing to get to call Adirondack Lodge home.

|Recommended: YesApartments nice. Don't expect access to amenities — The apartments are very nice in looks, location, and the type of people that tend to rent here. In the 3 years I have lived here, the pool has never opened on time. The property says it has cameras on signs as you're driving in, but it does not. The weight room had 1 of the 2 treadmills break and rather than fix it, they took it out. The complex should not list amenities in their description as this is not a priority to the property and many times you don't have access to the additional items. The maintenance guys are great, the location is fabulous, and the apartments are nice. However, don't expect to have access to the extras in a timely manner or at all if anything breaks.
Eric, Thank you for the review we are sorry that the amenities don't meet your standard. For the pool, summer of 2019 we resurfaced the pool and had other work done to improve it. This was the reason for a delayed opening. This year's pool is not open because of the pandemic, but we do have new loungers for the pool area to improve the seating. The weight room did have 2 treadmills and one of them was a bit of an older machine and the cost to repair was greater than the machine's value. At the end of February, we replaced that treadmill which means 2 machines now, replaced the elliptical, and recumbent bike to improve the workout experience. Also, we replaced medicine balls, yoga mats, a few other exercise aides, and we painted, replaced trim, and updated blinds. As that work began so did the shut down caused by the pandemic, can't wait for people to enjoy when we can open it back up. I am sorry for the inconveniences that repairs/maintenance and a pandemic has caused you, we will do our best to improve this.
|Recommended: YesGreat Community in prime South Hill location — Great area to live. Everything you need is a very short drive or even a walk away, Community grounds and appearance is beautiful and well kept. Apartment amenities and materials are a bit lacking for the price, but overall a very nice place to live.

I do want to point out during this pandemic we have upgraded 3 pieces of equipment in the gym treadmill, elliptical, and recumbent bike. Also freshened up the paint, fresh trim, new blinds, and upgraded some of the other work out aides. We do have other projects in the works for the rest of this year. The garage and a spot behind that garage and the garages are within the same building your unit is in, for convenience. |Recommended: YesLiving the good life — I can't tell you how happy I am living at this complex and on this marvelous residential campus. The grounds are absolutely wonderful and I always feel safe moving around the complex. The majority of the residents a friendly and engaging. And the staff is absolutely the best. They really go out of their way to help you resolve any issues you may have. And the maintenance staff is to die for. Very efficient and professional. Couldn't find a better place to live this chapter of my life.

|Recommended: YesI Never Knew Apartment Living Was So Great — The parking isn't ideal, but the large garage, quiet neighborhood, pool fitness center, and ability to have pets really make up for it. The location is fantastic, we can walk to dinner Yet we hardly ever hear our neighbors or any outside ruckus We don't have a dog, but its great seeing all the dogs being walked around the complex daily. It would be great to have a gated entrance in the back, but otherwise we enjoy living at Adirondack Lodge and highly recommend it

|Recommended: YesYou seem to care — The staff is very responsive to all needs and requests. They seem to genuinely care about the tenants and our comfort. I have lived in other apartment complexes and Adirondack is by far the best in terms of amenities, follow through and overall appearance. I am very glad to call this home.
